This showed up in my inbox this morning , begging to be shared:
“Worry is like a rocking chair: it gives you something to do but it doesn’t get you anywhere.”
(Dorothy Galyean)
I might add – not only does it not get us anywhere, it also does not even have the compensation of soothing us that rocking offers! So! Out the window, worry. (Well, at least we can try to toss it out.) And if worry can leave, perhaps that makes room for being open to Now, and what is in just this very moment . . . .
Happy Spring to all. I love being on this side of watching the earth wake up anew. I hope your day is full of joy and promise, just like Spring.
